Teams and settings
Manage team members, configure your organization, and customize your Strutter account.
Strutter supports team-based collaboration with configurable settings for your organization. This guide covers team management and account configuration.
Team members
Inviting team members
Add colleagues to your Strutter organization so they can collaborate on RFPs:
- Go to Team in the sidebar
- Click Invite Member
- Enter their email address
- They'll receive an email invitation with a link to join your organization
New team members get access to your organization's RFPs, vendors, and settings once they accept the invitation. The level of access depends on the role you assign (Admin, Member, or Viewer).
Managing your team
From the Team page, you can:
- View all active team members and their join dates
- See pending invitations that haven't been accepted yet
- Resend a pending invitation if the recipient missed the original email (generates a fresh link with a new 7-day expiry)
- Revoke a pending invitation to cancel it
- Remove team members who no longer need access
Team size limits
Team size limits vary by plan. If you've reached your plan's user limit, you'll need to upgrade or remove an existing member before adding someone new. See plans and pricing for details.
Roles
Strutter supports three team roles:
- Admin. Full access to all features, settings, billing, team management, and API keys.
- Member. Can create and manage RFPs, invite vendors, score responses, and use all AI features. Cannot access billing or manage team members.
- Viewer. Read-only access. Can view RFPs, scores, and vendor information but cannot create, edit, or take actions.
Organization settings
Access your organization settings from Settings in the sidebar.
Account information
Configure your organization's core details:
- Organization name. Displayed to vendors when they receive RFP invitations.
- Contact email. Used for account notifications and vendor communications.
Plan and usage
The Settings page shows your current plan tier and usage:
- RFPs created this period vs. your plan's limit
- AI credits used this period vs. your allocation
- Team members vs. your plan's user limit
Billing
Manage your subscription directly from Settings:
- View your current plan and billing cycle
- Upgrade or downgrade your plan
- Update payment information (managed through Stripe)
- View billing history
See billing and plans for full details on plan tiers and pricing.
API keys
API keys can be generated from Settings on select plans. See plans and pricing for eligibility and API access for setup instructions.
Vendor portal settings
If you've enabled the vendor portal (for responding to RFPs), you have separate settings for your vendor profile:
- Company info. Your company name, description, and contact details shared with RFP issuers.
- AI auto-fill. Your company background used by Strutter Assist for better AI-generated draft responses.
- Team management. Invite team members to collaborate on RFP responses.
Access vendor portal settings from the portal sidebar under Settings.
Session security
Strutter automatically manages session security. After a period of inactivity, you'll see a warning and then be automatically signed out to protect your account.
