AI vendor recommendations, messaging, support chatbot, file uploads, Question Library AI, and infrastructure upgrades.

AI-powered vendor matching, natural language question management, file upload support, direct messaging, a support chatbot, and a major infrastructure overhaul headline today's release.

New

  • AI vendor recommendations. After publishing an RFP, Strutter can analyze your requirements against the vendor directory and recommend the best-fit vendors. Each recommendation includes a match score and explanation, with a one-click invite button so you can reach out immediately.
  • Vendor/issuer messaging. Issuers and vendors can now communicate directly within each RFP through a built-in messaging system. Conversations are organized by thread with @ mentions, visibility controls (internal-only or shared with vendors), and real-time updates. Vendors see their threads in the response portal.
  • AI support chatbot. A Strutter AI-powered support assistant is now available across both the app and the marketing site. It can look up RFP details, check submission status, explain features, search the help docs, and answer common questions. Available from the chat icon in the bottom corner.
  • Question Library AI prompting. The Question Library now has the same AI prompt bar as the RFP editor. Add, edit, or bulk-modify library questions using natural language. Type "add 5 security compliance questions" or "change all weights to 2.0" and Strutter handles the rest.
  • My Vendors AI agent. The My Vendors page now has an AI-powered prompt bar for managing your vendor relationships. Add vendors, edit vendor info, get recommendations, and make bulk changes using natural language.
  • File upload question type. Issuers can now add file upload questions to RFPs. Vendors upload files through a drag-and-drop interface, and issuers can download submissions directly from the review dashboard. Files are stored securely with signed URLs.
  • File upload in RFP wizard. When generating an RFP with AI, you can now attach reference documents (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT) to provide additional context. The wizard extracts text from uploaded files and feeds it into the AI generation pipeline for more relevant, detailed RFPs.
  • Admin metrics dashboard. The admin panel now shows four key metrics at a glance: total RFPs published, vendors invited, registered users, and last login timestamp. Gives admins a quick pulse check without running reports.
  • Signup notifications. Admins now receive an email notification when a new user completes onboarding, including the user's email, organization name, and role.
  • 154 new vendor listings. The vendor directory now includes 154 additional companies across 12 new categories, making it easier to find the right vendors for any procurement need.
  • Bulk vendor re-enrichment. Vendor profiles can now be re-enriched in bulk. Previously, enrichment could only be triggered one vendor at a time.

Improved

  • Quarterly RFP credits. RFP credit allowances now reset quarterly instead of monthly, giving you more flexibility to plan your procurement schedule. Billing remains monthly.
  • RFP editor change tracking. After Strutter updates your RFP, only the questions that actually changed are highlighted. A summary banner tells you exactly what was added or modified (e.g., "3 questions added in Compliance, 1 removed"), and the page scrolls directly to the first change.
  • RFP prompt bar polish. Questions now fade cleanly under the prompt bar when scrolling, and a brief glow animation draws your eye to AI-updated questions.
  • Context-aware AI feedback. The Question Library prompt bar now shows a summary of exactly what the AI did (e.g., "Tagged 4 questions as Compliance") instead of generic count-based messages.
  • Homepage hero copy. The marketing site headline now reads "Award the best vendor in days, not months," better reflecting the platform's core value proposition.
  • Mobile responsive layout. The entire app now works on mobile devices with a hamburger navigation menu that replaces the sidebar on smaller screens.
  • Homepage redesign. The marketing site homepage now leads with customer pain points and clearly explains how Strutter's AI agent solves them, with a new "How it works" section showing the three-step workflow.
  • Vendor directory sorting. The directory now sorts alphabetically by company name by default. Fortune 500 tags display as "Fortune 500" instead of showing individual ranking numbers.
  • Vendor directory logos. Company logos now appear alongside each listing in the vendor directory, making it easier to identify vendors at a glance.
  • Vendor directory accuracy. The directory no longer includes duplicate Fortune 500 entries, and outdated company domains now point to the correct websites.
  • Admin navigation. Admin buttons and badges now use the brand color scheme instead of red, matching the rest of the app's visual style.

Fixed

  • Tenant isolation on invite updates. Vendor invite status changes now scope to your organization, preventing any possibility of cross-tenant access.
  • AI content sanitization. AI-generated content now passes through sanitization before rendering, improving output security.
  • AI credits enforcement. The Question Library prompt API now properly checks and decrements AI credit usage, matching the established pattern across all AI endpoints.
  • Response scoring consistency. Score updates now use atomic, tenant-scoped operations to prevent race conditions during concurrent scoring.
  • DatePicker "Today" button. Clicking "Today" now selects the current date even when viewing a different month in the calendar.
  • Vendor website field. Clearing a vendor's website field now saves correctly instead of keeping the old value.
  • RFP import parser. The import parser now correctly handles question configuration settings, resolving failures that could occur during RFP imports.
  • Marketing site copy. Fixed grammar, capitalization, and removed awkward phrasing across the marketing site.
  • Marketing site favicon. The site now displays the correct Strutter favicon, and the browser tab consistently shows "Strutter AI" across all pages.

Under the Hood

  • Build pipeline upgraded with optimized caching, cutting deploy times roughly in half.
  • Test failures now block deployments, ensuring broken code cannot reach production.
  • Significantly expanded automated test coverage across the platform.
  • All background job processing (RFP generation, response scoring, imports) now runs on a managed task queue service, simplifying infrastructure and reducing operational costs.
  • All runtime secrets are now managed through a centralized secret manager.
